What is Reiki?

Reiki is a spiritual healing practice that helps heal energy blockages to return and restore us to harmony and a balanced function on every level- physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental.

Reiki treatment is very relaxing and can feel like soft waves of energy, subtle pulsations flowing through the body.

Reiki can benefit anyone, the treatment is painless, non invasive and will not interfere with any medical treatments including radiation therapy and other treatments. Reiki can benefit anyone after the treatment you will generally feel centred and in touch with one self. Your actual experience of Reiki may focus on physical, mental or emotional changes; the sense of relaxation, instant reduction in anxiety, pain relief, clearer direction in life or situations. Another valuable reason to have ongoing Reiki treatments is that it gradually opens a spiritual connection and path to spiritual enlightenment that can help change life as you see it.  Renée is a second degree Reiki practitioner.

Where did Reiki originate?

Reiki is a Japanese word. Rei the first syllable means spirit, aura or subtle energy.  Ki the second syllable means energy or power.  It originated in the early 20^th century in Japan by Dr Mikao Usui.

Hawayo Takata, one of the Reiki Grand Masters, wrote in her early diary:

“I believe there exists One Supreme Being- the Absolute Infinite-A Dynamic Force that governs the world and universe. It is an unseen spiritual power that vibrates and all the other powers fade into insignificance beside it. So therefore, it is Absolute!

This power is unfathomable, immeasurable, and being a universal life force, it is incomprehensible to man. Yet every single living being is receiving its blessings daily, awake or asleep. Different teacher and masters call Him the great spirit; the universal Life Force; Life Energy because when applied it vitalise the whole system; Ether Wave because it soothes pain and puts you into a deep slumber as if under an anaesthetic; and the Cosmic Wave because it radiates vibrations of exultant feeling and lifts you into harmony. I shall call it Reiki as I studies under that expression.”

Distance Healing

Distant healings are required more regularly than hands on treatment ask about a package price for weekly healings over a course of a month or so pending your concern/issue.
